PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift-by-wire system capable of suppressing the slipping-down of a vehicle parked on a slope.SOLUTION: It is determined whether a position of a shift lever 21 is at an operation decision position or in a dead zone (S10, S11). It is determined whether a vehicle is parked on a slope or not on the basis of a vehicle speed signal and a slope signal (S12-S14). When the vehicle is determined as being parked on the slope, it is determined the vehicle is parked on a downhill road or an uphill road on the basis of the slope signal (S15). When it is determined that the position of the shift lever 21 is in the dead zone and the vehicle is parked on the downhill road, a shift range is decided to be at an R range, and when it is determined that the position of the shift lever 21 is in the dead zone and the vehicle is parked on the uphill road, the shift range is decided to be at a D range (S17, S21). |
