PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch video processing applied to a video content being viewed without giving a viewer a visual sense of incongruity.SOLUTION: A television (10) comprises: a switching unit (206) that switches video processing applied to a video content at timing when a first frame image as a still image is displayed; and a display control unit (214) that displays the same frame image as the first frame image on a display unit (216) during switching of the video processing.
