The invention concerns a method for the oxidative lightening and/or dyeing of keratin fibres, in particular hair, wherein: (a) a dye and/or lightening agent is applied to the keratin fibres, the dye or agent being obtained as a result of mixing a composition (A) which contains at least one basifier with a composition (B) containing at least one oxidizer in a cosmetic carrier; and subsequently (b), within a period of between one second and 24 hours after step (a), a pre-treatment agent containing at least one 4-morpholinomethyl-substituted silicone of formula (V) is applied to the keratin fibres, in particular hair.
