<p>The present invention relates to a method for authenticating the user of an IEEE 11073 agent and a system therefor. More particularly, the present invention relates to a user authentication method, which is compatible with the IEEE 11073 international standards, whereby a manager can recognize the user of an agent in the transmission/reception of data between the agent and the manager based on the IEEE 11073 international standards. The IEEE 11073-based user authentication method according to the present invention comprises: a step in which an IEEE 11073 agent transmits, to an IEEE 11073 manager, an association request message comprising user authentication information; a step in which the IEEE 11073 manager transmits the user authentication information to a user authentication server in response to the received association request message; and a step in which the IEEE 11073 manager receives, from the user authentication server, authentication result information about authentication based on the user authentication information.</p> |
