The method involves providing a sensor for detecting vehicle-related measurement values. A preform (2) is exhibited by a carrier element during manufacturing process of an electronic component, such that the preform introduced into an injection molding tool (3) along spatial direction is aligned and molded. The preform is brought and held in a predetermined position by a positioning tool (1). The preform is fixed in the predetermined position by a fixing unit. The preform is released by the positioning tool.
