<p>Provided are panties and similar clothing, for which fit on the lower part of the hips is improved and which are designed to reliably prevent the back edges of the leg openings from riding up. The panties and similar clothing are manufactured using tubular fabric. The panties and similar clothing are provided with: a front surface covering section (11) and a back covering section (12), which are elastic; and a gusset (13), which is provided between the lower edge (16) of the front surface covering section (11) and the lower edge (17) of the back surface covering section (12) and covers the crotch area. The body (14) is provided with a lower narrowing section (25) for narrowing the lower section of the body (14). When the garment is opened along the back center line (S2) of the back surface covering section (12) and unfolded, the back center line (S2) of the back surface covering section (12) narrows downward with respect to the front center line (S1) of the front surface covering section (11) so that the downward extension of the back center line (S2) approaches the downward extension of the front center line (S1).</p> |
