The present invention relates to a device for manufacturing a battery cell and a method for manufacturing a battery cell using the same. More specifically, the device is capable of adhering, to the inner surface of the lower end of a battery case, the lower end of an electrode assembly embedded in the battery case, and the method for manufacturing the battery cell using the same is provided. The device for manufacturing a battery cell and the method for manufacturing using the same according to the present invention can provide the battery cell having improved safety by reducing a short circuit that may occur when a cathode or a cathode tab of the electrode assembly is in contact with the battery case or a cap assembly even though the electrode assembly is expanded due to a swelling phenomenon in battery cell charge/discharge, and by delaying the time of short circuit occurrence. |
