The method comprises: when a webpage is displayed on the touch screen, acquiring a resource file of the webpage; when the resource file is determined to comprise information used for identifying a mouseover event, activating a preset mode; detecting an operation perceived by the touch screen; and, when the detected operation satisfies a triggering condition of a certain mouseover event, triggering the certain mouseover event.
