IEEE 11073 AGENT USER AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method of authenticating an IEEE 11073 agent user and a system therefor. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method of authenticating a user, which is compatible with IEEE 11073 international standard such that a manager can recognize a user of an agent when data is transmitted/received between the agent and the manager based on IEEE 11073 international standard. A user authentication method based on IEEE 11073 includes the following steps: transmitting an association request message including user authentication information to an IEEE 11073 manager by an IEEE 11073 agent; transmitting the user authentication information to a user authentication server in response to a reception of the association request message by the IEEE 11073 manager; and receiving information about an authentication result based on the user authentication information from the user authentication server by the IEEE 11073 manager.
