PURPOSE: An actuator using explosion gas pressure for ultra high voltage switchgear and an ultra high voltage switchgear having the same are provided to offer the opening driving force for a long period by linearly driving the output shaft using the explosion pressure force. CONSTITUTION: A supporting frame(1) comprises a gas cylinder(4) communicating with a combustion chamber(3). A piston(8) moves linearly into and out of the gas cylinder. A breeching block(6) moves linearly with the piston in the same direction. A latch(12) is located to contact the breeching block. A first spring(11) applies the elastic pressure on the breeching block task. |
