The present invention relates to a method of predicting sulfur rise when refining molten iron in a converter, wherein sulfur is increased by a converter process in between a kanvara reactor (KR) process and the converter process. The method of predicting sulfur rise when refining molten iron in a converter comprises: a step of measuring sulfur (S) content of the molten metal desulfurized in the KR process; a step of being input with the kinds and input of scrap and of a supplementary material to be injected into the converter process; and a step of calculating the sulfur rise (ΔS) by using the sulfur content (S) in the molten iron, and the kinds and input of the scrap and of the supplementary material.
