-9 Abstract Disclosed is a safety system that can prevent persons from falling from the tray of a skip bin truck when securing a load. The safety system includes a walkway mounted to a hydraulic cylinder of the truck and a rail. The walkway has a substantially flat surface and the rail is located closer to the periphery of the truck relative to the walkway. The system thereby prevents a person from falling from the truck when standing on the walkway. [Fig. 3] |
