PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal unit transmitting necessary information by being appropriately connected to an electrical connection portion of a cartridge holder, and enabling a stable printing operation using an ink jet head, an ink supply unit enabling a stable printing operation by smoothly supplying ink to an ink introduction portion communicating with the ink jet head, or an adapter including both functions.SOLUTION: A terminal unit 71 is provided within an accommodation unit 38 that can accommodate therein an ink cartridge, and attached to a cartridge holder 37 including: an ink introduction portion 51 for introducing ink into an ink jet head 33; an electrical connection portion 46; a through-hole 66; and a restriction portion 43b that can restrict moving of the ink cartridge in a take-out direction. The terminal unit 71 includes: a terminal member 75 contacting the electrical connection portion 46 when the terminal unit 71 is attached to the cartridge holder 37; an engaging portion 74 with which the restriction portion 43b is engaged; and a unit-side positioning portion 79 positioned in the through-hole 66. |
