PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device of an internal combustion engine that injects fuel at an optimal timing according to the magnitude of a gas flow velocity in an intake port, in an intake stroke injection.SOLUTION: A fuel control injection valve is controlled so that the majority (half and more) of an injection period in which fuel is injected in an intake stroke of each cylinder is within a period in which gas pressure in an intake port increases. In an intake stroke injection, since fuel is injected in an optimal timing according to the direction and magnitude of a gas flow velocity in the intake port, the mixed state of fuel in a combustion chamber becomes good, and improvement in fuel economy and reduction in exhaust emission can be attained. |
