PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable fixture available for flat cables of different sizes.SOLUTION: The flat cable fixture is provided for mounting, to equipment such as a closure, a connection box, or a tray set thereto, a flat cable with a built-in tension member (tensile strength wire) pulled out of a wiring port of the equipment or pulled from the wiring port into the equipment. The flat cable fixture is plate-shaped so as to be set into a setting groove of the equipment, and a fitting groove into which the flat cable can be fitted is provided while being opened on one side surface in a width direction. A groove width of the fitting groove is made wider than a lateral width dimension of the flat cable and narrower than a longitudinal width dimension and both outer surfaces of the flat cable in a length direction are press-fitted towards both outside edges of the fitting groove. Therefore, both the outside edges are meshed into both the outer surface of a sheath of the flat cable in the length direction so that the flat cable can be fixed. |
