PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking exercise machine capable of securing an effective amount of exercise in a short exercise time without generating large vibration and noise.SOLUTION: A walking exercise machine 100 includes: a walking belt 120 on which a user rides and walks; a handrail part 101 that the user holds with both hands; an operation panel 140 by which the user operates a switch, etc.; and a drive mechanism for driving the walking belt 120. The walking belt 120 moves when a worm gear rotated by a drive motor causes a worm wheel connected to a drum to rotate. Brake acts on the walking belt 120 by a brake function of the worm gear. |
