PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time information acquisition device capable of more effectively confirming accuracy of time information in a short time, and an electric wave clock.SOLUTION: A time information acquisition device comprises: code identification means for identifying the respective codes of code strings showing received time information; first partial parity calculation means for calculating a partial parity obtained by subtracting a parity bit of a variable code which can vary among three or more predetermined number of code strings among the respective codes of this code string part from a parity code for a predetermined code string part; first partial parity determination means for determining one partial parity on the basis of the predetermined number of partial parities calculated respectively by the first partial parity calculation means; second partial parity determination means for determining one parity with invariable codes other than the variable code among the respective codes of the predetermined number of code string parts; and parity confirmation means for confirming coincidence between the partial parities determined by the first partial parity determination means and the second partial parity determination means.
