The heater has a heating section (1) assigned with a heating device (2). A lime removal unit (3) i.e. stainless steel brush, is provided within the heating section by a shape memory element (4) i.e. tension spring, in the heating section. The lime removal unit is connected with a return spring (5). The return spring and the tension spring are coaxial arranged. The lime removal unit is arranged before the pipe section (1b) in a deactivated state of the heating device along a flow direction. The heating device is provided at a decalcifying portion of the heating section.
