This nonwoven fabric (1) is a nonwoven fabric wherein a web comprising long fibers (2) is fixed by heat-sealed areas (3). This nonwoven fabric (1) is provided with fibers (20) for which some of the long fibers (2) have been ruptured and only one end (20a) is fixed by a heat-sealed area (3). In this nonwoven fabric (1), portions located between heat-sealed areas (3, 3) that are adjacent in the direction in which the long fibers (2) are oriented (Y-direction) have an extensibility of 35% or more with respect to a tensile load of 1 cN/1 mm.
