An apparatus for processing a digital image and a method for controlling the same are provided to photograph an image at a hand-shake prevention mode by enabling a hand-shake prevention function to recognize necessary things automatically according to the photographing state of a user. A lens barrel which receives an image from the outside, a pickup unit, etc. are placed at a body of a digital camera(100). In addition, a shutter release button(120), a holding sensor(130) and a display panel(140) are mounted at an external portion of the body. Through the shutter release button, a user is able to operate a shutter with one hand. The holding sensor senses the other hand of the user holds the body. A hand-shake detection sensor is mounted at a digital image processing device. |
