PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire position determination device that can specify a tire position with a low calculation load using an array antenna.SOLUTION: A TPMS receiver comprises an array antenna 14 that receives radio wave (a tire pressure signal) transmitted from tire pressure detectors attached to tires. In a memory 15 of the TPMS receiver are previously registered antenna complex weight coefficients Ka and Kb by which null beam is directed against one specific tire pressure detector of the plurality of tire pressure detectors and beam is directed against the other. The TPMS receiver, when null beam is directed against a front right tire pressure detector and beam is directed against the other, cannot receive radio wave from a front right tire detector but can receive radio wave from the other, while when null beam is directed against a front left tire pressure detector and beam is directed against the other, cannot receive radio wave from the front left tire detector but can receive radio wave from the other. Therefore, confirmation before and after switching directionality allows a tire ID to be determined, based on which tire positions of all four wheels are specified. |
