PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device capable of detecting a highly accurate rotation angle.SOLUTION: When a condition where both of two magnetic sensors out of three magnetic sensors 71, 72 and 73 continuously detect one identical magnetic pole for three sampling periods is satisfied, a rotation angle is calculated on the basis of output signals for the three sampling periods from the two magnetic sensors. When output signals for the three sampling periods satisfy a fixed requirement, an angle width error correction value (magnetic pole width correction value) and amplitude corresponding to the magnetic pole detected by the two magnetic sensors are calculated and stored in relation to the magnetic pole. When the condition is not satisfied, a rotation angle is calculated on the basis of output signals of two magnetic sensors including one magnetic sensor detecting a magnetic pole whose angle width error correction value is stored in the memory out of the three magnetic sensors and information stored in the memory. |
