Classes 52(2) and 52(5) In infants' foldable seats having hook arms 15 carried on a back rest 2 and adapted to take over the back of a car &c. seat, the arms are pivoted at 17 to fold against the rest 2 and the seat proper 1 is pivoted to the lower end of the rest 2 and is supported by a strap 12 from the central front part of a guard rail 9 pivoted at 11 to the rest 2 and limited in its downward movement by abutment with the backrest 2. The pivoted connection between the back 2 and seat proper 1 consists of a double hinge formed by side links 7 pivoted to each part. The strap 12 is fixed at one end to the foot of the rest 2 and passes under the seat proper 1 before extending upwardly to the rail 9. In the folded position, Fig. 4, the strap holds the parts in folded relation.
