ELONGATED SURGICAL STAPLING DEVICE

An elongated surgical stapling device comprises: a main body; a cartridge holder (1), a cartridge (3), and an anvil (2) that are provided at a distal end of the main body; and a movable tool driving rod (6). The tool driving rod (6) drives a tool (7) and a firing block (5) to move. The cartridge holder (1) is pivotally provided with a safety block (8) for preventing firing for the second time. The safety block (8) is provided at the distal end of the tool driving rod (6) and the tool (7). When the device is in the initial state and after the firing is completed, the tool driving rod (6) and the tool (7) are restricted from moving from the proximal end to the distal end of the elongated surgical stapling device. The elongated surgical stapling device can be prevented from closing when the doctor does not replace the fired cartridge (3) or the cartridge (3) is not mounted in place, so as to avoid a medical accident or harm to the normal tissue; moreover, the structure is simple and effective.
