A driving device for a washing machine according to the present invention comprises an outer shaft connected to a washing drum; an inner shaft arranged inside the outer shaft to be rotated and connected to a pulsator; an outer rotor connected to the inner shaft; and a stator arranged in a gap between an inner rotor and the outer rotor. The outer shaft has one end connected to the washing drum and the other end connected to the inner rotor to directly connect the washing drum and the inner rotor, and the inner shaft has one end connected to the pulsator and the other end connected to the outer rotor to directly connect the pulsator and the outer rotor; thereby removing an existing clutch. Thus, the present invention can reduce manufacturing costs, can simplify manufacturing processes, and can reduce the height of the washing machine. |
