PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator for a loop type heat pipe for space capable of sufficiently supplying actuation liquid to a first wick by pushing a second wick against the first wick.SOLUTION: A loop type heat pipe 20 includes an evaporator 1, a bayonet pipe 8 which is inserted to the evaporator 1 and causes liquid to flow into an inner part of the evaporator 1 and a steam pipe 5 connected with the evaporator 1. The evaporator 1 includes a second wick 3 which is disposed around the bayonet pipe 8 and causes liquid flowing-in from the bayonet pipe 8 to be penetrated thereinto, a first wick 2 which is disposed around the second wick 3, causes liquid penetrated into the second wick 3 to be penetrated thereinto, evaporates the penetrated liquid with ambient heat of the evaporator 1 and causes the evaporated liquid to flow into the steam pipe 5 and a stay 4 which is disposed between the bayonet pipe 8 and the second wick 3 and pushes the second wick 3 against the first wick 2. |
