PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multitouch tactile device with multifrequency and barycentric capacitive detection.SOLUTION: The general field of this invention relates to a touch screen devices (1) with projected capacitive detection, which comprises a matrix touchpad (10) including a plurality of conductive rows (11) and of conductive columns (12). The touchpad is linked to electronic control means (20). The electronic control means generates two periodic emission voltages emitted at two different frequencies. Analysis of reception voltages makes it possible to determine positions of two simultaneous presses on the touchpad, including when the two presses are done on rows or columns close to each other. The determination of the presses is performed essentially by calculating the barycenters of the troughs of the reception voltages. |
