<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian collision detection system capable of highly precisely detecting a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian, and a pedestrian collision report system.SOLUTION: A pedestrian collision detection system of the present invention includes: handheld communication equipment 1 including an impact detection unit 11 that detects a collision between a vehicle and an owner, an impact record unit 12 that preserves the result of the detection for a predetermined time, and a short-range communication IC 15 enabling wireless communication within a predetermined range; and a pedestrian collision detection unit 2 which is mounted on a vehicle and includes a collision sensor 21 that detects a collision between the vehicle and a pedestrian or an object and a wireless communication unit 22 enabling wireless communication within the predetermined range. When the collision sensor 21 detects a collision and the impact record unit 12 preserves the result of the detection, the wireless communication unit 22 and short-range communication IC 15 perform mutual authentication through paring. The pedestrian collision detection unit 2 includes a collision determination unit 23 which determines that the vehicle has collided with the pedestrian, when the wireless communication unit 22 and short-range communication IC 15 have performed mutual authentication through paring.</p> |
