PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent capable of imparting, onto a molding, a sufficient permanent antistatic capacity even at a miniscule addition ratio without compromising the physical appearance and mechanical strengths of the molding and an antistatic resin composition including the same.SOLUTION: The provided antistatic agent is an antistatic agent comprising: a compound (C) obtained by esterifying a monovalent hydroxyl group-containing compound (B) with the 1,3-dioxo-2-oxapropylene group of a copolymer (A) obtained by copolymerizing an unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon (a) and an unsaturated acid anhydride (b); and an onium salt (D) where the molar ratio of (a) and (b) within the copolymer (A) [(a)/(b)] is 95/5-25-75 and (B) is a hydroxyl group-containing compound possessing a polyethylene oxide chain having a degree of polymerization of 10-100. |
