a. ionizing rT3 from the sample to generate one or more rT3 ions detectable by mass spectrometry; b. determining the amount of one or more rT3 ions by mass spectrometry; and c. determining the amount of rT3 in the body fluid sample from the amount of said rT3 ions determined in (b). |
