The method involves transferring a data frame (A) respectively through a data bus or data receiving and/or read bus, by a pair of bus device. An identifier (3) received and/or read over the data bus is compared with an identifier (3') of the second bus device. The transmission of data frames on the data bus is terminated, before completion of the transmission of data frames. The termination of transmission of data frames is initiated by the first bus device, if the correspondence of identifier (3) of data frames with the identifier (3') of second bus device is determined. An independent claim is included for a data interface module.
