The metering module (1) has a metering container (230) which represents a predetermined metering reservoir. The liquid inlet (210) and liquid outlet (240) are opened into the metering container. The liquid outlet is connected with the metering container over an overflow reservoir (250). The metering container is communicated with a metering line (260) for deriving the liquid from the main portion. The metering container and the overflow reservoir are interconnected with each other, based on the pneumatic, pressure transducer acted upon with a predetermined pressure. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) mixing device; and (2) a method for proportioning a liquid with the metering module.
