The present invention relates to an x-ray tube which comprises a vacuum housing (1) in which at least one cathode (2) and at least one anode (3) in the vacuum housing are disposed to be insulated by at least one insulation element respectively. The cathode (2) emits electrons that strike the anode as an electron beam when a high voltage (UC) is applied to the cathode. The x-ray tube comprises dischargers (10, 11) including an insulation zone (s) having a higher field strength than a field strength of an insulating member (4) to perform voltage discharge through the dischargers (10, 11) when voltage flashover occurs. Functional members in the x-ray tube are reliably protected from over-voltage for an entire work period. |
