A touch panel. The touch panel is defined with a visible area (100v) and an invisible area (100p). The touch panel comprises a sensing electrode layer (106) and a protecting layer (116), wherein the sensing electrode layer (106) is located on the visible area (100v) and the invisible area (100p). The protecting layer (116) comprising a first opening (116a) is formed on the surface of the sensing electrode layer (106) to cover the sensing electrode layer (106) on the visible area (100v) entirely. Part of the sensing electrode layer (106) on the invisible area (100p) is exposed through the first opening (116a) of the protecting layer (116). A manufacturing method of the touch panel is also provided.
