PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get rid of disadvantages of the prior art by improving a linear drive device, especially for a piston pump, having a first electromagnetic drive unit, a second electromagnetic drive unit, and a drive piston movable in the axial direction by the drive device.SOLUTION: A first drive unit 8 and a second drive unit 9 are formed, respectively, as reluctance drive devices. The reluctance drive devices 8, 9 include stators 10, 11 having coil windings 12, 13 and cores 23, 24, respectively. The cores have mover housing sections 16, 17 formed as air gaps for movers 18, 19 coupled with a drive piston 3 in action, and composed of a ferromagnetic material, especially a soft magnetic material. |
