PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maximum displacement recorder that can be repeatedly used and can accurately record, with a simple configuration, a maximum relative displacement of at least one of a separating direction and approach direction between two points.SOLUTION: A maximum displacement recorder 2 is used for recording a maximum relative displacement of at least one of a separating direction and approach direction between two points. The maximum displacement recorder 2 includes: an arm section 21 that is fixed to the first point 11a and overhangs toward the second point 12a; a receiving section 22 that is fixed to the second point and is installed in a state in which it does not disturb the axial movement of the arm section; a pair of recording bodies 23A and 23B moving with a relative displacement of the arm section to the receiving section; and scale sections 24A and 24B for measuring the moving amount of the recording bodies. |
