PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact projector device capable of projecting polarization separation-based stereoscopic images.SOLUTION: A projector device 1 of the present invention includes a light source unit 10, an image light generator unit 20, projection lenses 30, a first phase difference unit 40, and a second phase difference unit 50. The first phase difference unit 40 includes first phase difference inducing sections 40a which shift phases of portions of first and second image light to induce phase difference, and first phase difference non-inducing sections 40b which do not induce a phase difference. The second phase difference unit 50 includes second phase difference inducing sections 50a which shift the phases of the phase-shifted portion of the first image light and a remaining phase-unshifted portion of the second image light to induce phase difference, and a second phase difference non-inducing sections 50b which do not shift phases of the remaining phase-unshifted portion of the first image light and the phase-shifted portion of the second image light. |
