PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank installation structure of a saddle-riding type vehicle, which enables the rear of a fuel tank to be easily mounted on a vehicle body frame without a cross member, while employing a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A fuel tank installation structure of a saddle-riding type vehicle comprises: a pair of right and left mount parts 27 that are provided in a vehicle body frame; and a pair of right and left mounting flanges 19A and 19B that are provided in positions at 1/4-1/2 of a longitudinal length L of a tank 18 from a back end of the fuel tank 18. The mounting flanges 19A and 19B are fastened together by a fastening member 43 that is inserted through the mounting flanges 19A and 19B and the mount parts 27 from an outer lateral side. |
