PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-touch operation compatible electronic device which allow a user to effect a same response as a response to a multi-touch operation even when the user has difficulty performing the multi-touch operation.SOLUTION: An electronic device 100 having a touch manipulation section which enables multi-touch operation includes; a touch input detection unit which detects a single touch input on the touch operation section; user manipulation sections 101, 102 which are provided separately from the touch manipulation section and is user operable; and an operation unit which provides a same response as a response to a multi-touch operation when a single touch input is detected and the user manipulation sections 101, 102 are manipulated.
