<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer conveyance apparatus using a positive-displacement pump, configured to prevent increase in size and cost, thereby extending the service life of the pump and the apparatus.SOLUTION: A developer conveyance apparatus 48 includes a sub-hopper 50 for supplying toner to a developing apparatus 16, and a pump 56 for conveying the toner stored in a toner storage part 54 via a conveyance path 58 and supplying it to the sub-hopper 50. When the amount of volume to be moved by pump operation is Qp (flow rate×pump driving time) and the volume of the toner stored in the toner storage part 54 is Qd, Qp>Qd is satisfied.</p> |
