A control method of a mobile apparatus having a face recognition function using an additional component according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: checking whether a face recognition function is activated in a first state of the mobile apparatus; obtaining an image through a camera when the face recognition function is activated; analyzing the obtained image and extracting a face shape or at least one principal component included in the face shape; checking whether a face recognized from the image is a face of a registered user by using the face shape or the at least one principal component; checking whether an additional shape recognition function is activated; analyzing the obtained image and extracting an additional shape or at least one additional component included in the additional shape when the additional shape recognition function is activated; and changing the mobile apparatus to a preset second state corresponding to the additional shape or the at least one additional component.
