PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoding apparatus capable of suppressing capacity of buffers and decoding a plurality of encoded data in parallel.SOLUTION: The decoding apparatus includes: a plurality of decoding parts for respectively decoding a plurality of encoded data; a plurality of transport buffers each of which corresponds to at least one decoding part out of the plurality of decoding parts and stores encoded data to be supplied to the corresponding decoding part; a plurality of packet acquisition parts each of which corresponds to any one of the plurality of transport buffers and acquires a packet including encoded data to be stored in the corresponding transport buffer; a time information acquisition part for acquiring information indicating time written in a header of a packet acquired by each of the packet acquisition parts; and a buffer capacity setting part for setting capacity of each of the transport buffers by referring to the information indicating time acquired by the time information acquisition part. |
