PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge charge amount measuring method and a discharge charge amount measuring apparatus, which are capable of evaluating the life of an electric wires more accurately.SOLUTION: The discharge charge amount measuring method includes: a partial discharge generation step of applying to a sample a voltage higher than a partial discharge start voltage of the sample from a voltage application device connected to the sample, and thereby generating a partial discharge on the sample; a voltage recording step of consecutively measuring and recording a terminal voltage of a capacitor series-connected between the sample and the ground by alternately operating at least two data loggers connected to both terminals of the capacitor for each predetermined time until the sample falls at least into insulation breakdown; a discharge charge amount calculation step of multiplying a difference between the terminal voltages of the capacitor recorded in the voltage recording step by electrostatic capacitance of the capacitor to calculate a discharge charge amount that is discharged from the sample and remains in the capacitor; and an accumulated discharge charge amount calculation step of accumulating the discharge charge amount at least until the sample falls into insulation breakdown to calculate an accumulated discharge charge amount. |
