PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device and motor drive method, capable of driving a motor at an optimum driving frequency to generate counterelectromotive force by sweeping a driving frequency at a unit frequency interval preset at the initial driving of the motor.SOLUTION: The motor drive device and motor drive method includes a frequency signal generation section that generates a frequency signal in which a frequency is preset at a predetermined unit frequency interval; a driving signal generation section that generates a motor driving signal on the basis of a frequency signal from the frequency signal generation section; and a drive section that drives a motor with a motor driving signal of the driving signal generation section. |
