<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst structure constituted by superimposing a plurality of tabular catalyst elements having a high degree of draft loss adjustment freedom and a high denitrification performance.SOLUTION: The provided catalyst structure for purifying an exhaust gas is constituted by superimposing a plurality of tabular catalyst elements each comprising a substrate having a flat principal surface and a layer including a catalytic component and adhered to the substrate wherein at least two wavy protrusion parts each comprising at least one protruding stripe shorter than the width of the substrate and at least one recessed stripe shorter than the width of the substrate are formed atop the substrate via a gap along the longitudinal direction of the protruding stripe or recessed stripe, wherein a flat part which is level with the substrate principal surface or a hole punching through the substrate exists between the wavy protrusion parts formed via a gap along the longitudinal direction of the protruding stripe or recessed stripe, wherein a gas inflow port is configured at one terminal of a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the protruding stripe or recessed stripe, and wherein a gas outflow port is configured at the other terminal thereof.</p> |
