PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a graft copolymer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, capable of efficiently adsorbing and collecting metal ions.SOLUTION: (1) A graft copolymer includes a base material of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer with a graft chain having at least one structure of thiourea and iso-urea. (2) The manufacturing method of a graft copolymer include: a step A of preparing a base material of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer; and a step B of introducing a graft chain having at least one structure of thiourea and iso-urea to the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer so as to form a graft copolymer with a graft chain having at least one structure of thiourea and iso-urea.
