PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a tool which allow a small amount of powder samples to be accurately added into a solvent.SOLUTION: A main container 2 has a solvent accommodating section 21 pre-loaded with a predetermined amount of solvent 1, and a sub-container 3, also acting as a lid, has a recess 31 at a tip of a recess forming section 35 thereof, which is immersed in the solvent 1 when a top end opening of the main container 2 is closed thereby. When the sub-container 3 is pulled out, the solvent 1 collects in the recess 31 due to surface tension. The sub-container 3 then is placed upside-down on a level surface to add a powder sample S into the solvent 1 in the recess 31 by preparing an adder stick 4 having a tip portion adhered with the powder sample S and vertically introducing the tip portion thereof into the recess 31 all the way to the bottom. The solvent 1 in the recess 31 is then returned back to the main container 2. |
