PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an appropriate discharged sheet alignment state to correspond to various situations by changing the angle of rigidity variation means for varying a stiffening amount to a sheet in accordance with the image forming speed.SOLUTION: A sheet discharge unit 6 includes a discharged-sheet attraction/transport device 36; and a pair of jump bases 50a and 50b. Depending on a printing speed of an image formation apparatus, settings of height positions and different angles of the operation-side jump base 50a and the driving-side jump base 50b are changed. For example, at the printing speed of 60 sheets/minute to 90 sheets/minute, large angles are set. At the printing speed of 90 sheets/minute to 120 sheets/minute, intermediate angles are set. At the printing speed exceeding 120 sheets/minute, maximal angles are set. Alternatively, small angles can be set if the sheet is thick. |
