The present invention relates to a production method for a polylactide resin, the method comprising a step in which a lactide monomer is subjected to ring-opening polymerisation in the presence of an organic metal catalyst and an aromatic monomer eliminating agent, and involving the use of between 0.1 and 20 parts by weight of the aromatic monomer eliminating agent with respect to 100 parts by weight of the lactide monomer.
