An optical scanning apparatus (10) is provided with a first scan drive unit (100A), and a second scan drive unit (100B). The first scan drive unit (100A) has a scan mirror (101) and a frame structure (102), and by means of deformation of the frame structure (102), the scan mirror (101) is rotated with a first rotating axis at the center. The second scan drive unit (100B) has a rotating holder (104) and a supporting shaft (108), which support the first scan drive unit (100A), and rotates the rotating holder (104) with a second rotating axis at the center. The frame structure (102) has a pair of beams (102c, 102d) that are provided in the first rotating axis direction with the scan mirror (101) therebetween, and a pair of base portions (102a, 102b) that are provided on the sides of the beams (102c, 102d), respectively, said sides being opposite to the scan mirror (101). Each of the base portions (102a, 102b) has a long shape that is long in the second rotating axis direction, and is configured such that each of the base portions can be deformed. |
